Why Kids Should Bring Their Bibles to Church on Sunday In a world filled with screens, noise, and constant distractions, one simple habit can make a powerful difference in a child’s faith: bringing their Bible to church. For kids, faith grows best when it becomes personal. When a child carries their own Bible into Grow Kids on Sunday morning, something important happens. I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas (not Missouri) and earned my degree in Environmental Science from the University of Kansas. For several years after graduation, I worked in the environmental sector. However, in 2009, I decided to leave that field to follow my passion for full-time vocational ministry. After 16 years of dedicated full-time vocational ministry, I feel the Lord called me to embark on a thrilling new adventure—an opportunity I have dreamed of since my youth: owning my own business.
